Easter Eggs!

This year's fun-filled Easter Egg coloring session took place in the kid's new Westchester home. New location notwithstanding, the eggs turned out just fine, and were placed in the refrigerator where the Easter Bunny will be able to find them on Saturday night. Stay tuned.

A Day At The Pleasantville Town Park
Today I took the kids to the little town park, located not far from Monkey-Central. It was very scenic, however, I suspect it will be even more so once the leaves and flowers have bloomed. The park is also home to the village swimming pool, although that will have to wait a couple of months (it's New England, remember folks?). Enjoy the pics!

Playing Outside
This past Wednesday afternoon, I picked the monkeys up from their monkey educational facility and took them home (with the aid of Grandma's car). The weather was so nice that we decided to play outside on the back patio. Nope, there's no substitute for fresh air!

Early Spring - Bay Ridge
Here are a couple of pics I took on my way to the subway this morning. Today was the first truly spring-ish day of 2010:

Pi Day

Pi Day is celebrated by math enthusiasts around the world on March 14th. Pi = 3.1415926535…
Pi, Greek letter (), is the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. With the use of computers, Pi has been calculated to over 1 trillion digits past the decimal. Pi is an irrational and transcendental number meaning it will continue infinitely without repeating. The symbol for pi was first used in 1706 by William Jones, but was popular after it was adopted by the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler in 1737.

Kid Cartoons
OK, so yeah, I got a new app for the old iPhone and was playing around with turning photos into cartoons. And we all know who my two favorite photography subjects are - right? Here are the results:

Brooklyn's Chinatown
Many of you are probably not aware that Brooklyn has a Chinatown, which is larger in both size and population than the well known Chinatown in Manhattan. Well, now you know. On Tuesday, after yet another doctor's appointment, I took some time to wander around a bit, as Chinatown is sandwiched (but ever expanding) between Sunset Park and Borough Park - where Maimonides is located. I did some shopping and snapped a few pics to share with you:

A Make-Your-Own-Pizza Birthday Party
Today we went to Sinead and Maisy's birthday party at Pizzeria Uno. We had great fun coloring and playing games, then we got to make our own pizzas! I know what you're thinking: "What could be better than that?" Well, how about do-it-yourself ice cream sundaes? Mmmmn!

A Visit To Pleasantville
This past Wednesday (and every Wednesday until I move) I took the train up to Pleasantville, NY to spend the night with the monkeys. It was cool to see them adapting to their new environment, and nice to take them to school in the morning. Much more to follow.
